Uncle Chuckie!

Tonight I took Kaylee up to Denton to visit one of my very best friends, Chuck. We mesh soo well and without him and a select few others, i would have had the hardest time throughout high school. I think my downfall from going to school away from home was that i didn't have any support backing me up when i needed it the most. i guarantee that if Chelsea and I hadn't fought right before we went to school and she would have had the means for tuition that we would be well on our way to graduate, but this is obviously not the case, however not regrettably. Even with a Sorority, i felt that things were fake and I was buying into a friendship and am glad that i didn't finish pledging. Anyways, Kaylee had fallen asleep on the way up there and i woke her up after we arrived and within a minute or two, she was high-fiving him, and by the end of the night gave him a kiss on the cheek. I was so lucky to have great friends that upheld their own personal standards and had goals for themselves that they are currently accomplishing. Mine are coming along..just not in the order I had planned. Flower Mound has changed just as much as I have and it is a scary thing if you ask me. Not only have friends and schoolmates moved away but it seems like it has doubled in size since I left 3 years ago. I miss the old days. Doesn't everyone? Chuck has his own apartment in Denton. Robby is in Italy right now. Logan is at college down south, and Im in Louisiana with a family. Its amazing how with time people seem to drift further and further apart.
Where has the time gone?
Anyways, it is late..ill continue my thought tomorrow.

It's been how long?

Well, i have lived in Natchitoches for almost 3 years now! It has gone by so fast. I can't believe Kaylee is already 18 months and never slows down. You never realize how big they are when you are always around until you look back at old photos and question, "where has the time gone?"

Kaylee and I took a weekend trip to Flower Mound (Dallas) this weekend to support Nick in the high school production of Beauty and the Beast. It was amazing and Nick did a fierce job designing costumes and props. However, I was upset that the temperature dropped and we wont be able to go to the zoo tomorrow and that the rain caused Jd's work to take the weekend off, including today and part of yesterday. At least it gave the two of us a chance to do what we want without the other one nagging.  I hope our weekend is still enjoyable and look forward to returning to our humble abode out in the sticks.
